Standout Jobs is looking for a Flash Developer to help us with some tricky parts of Reception, our core product.
The requirement for this position is extremely simple: You must know Flash development upside down and inside out. In addition, you must understand how the Flash application interacts with its host environment using Javascript. A familiarity with Prototype or Scriptaculous is helpful.

Standout Jobs is hiring a Customer Service Representative to help us maintain the highest quality of service possible. We're fast. We're good. And we aim to please. You've gotta be the same.
Give Me the Quick Details
This is currently a part-time, contract position, which would start immediately. The contract would last until the end of September, with the possibility of renewal (either into a part-time extension or full-time employment.)
And what will I do as a Customer Service Person?
As a Customer Service Representative you'll spend your time helping customers implement and launch their career sites, manage customer support requests, track bugs, and generally make sure that customers are having a great experience with Standout Jobs and our products. We'll also ask you to help us with testing new features, training customers, and a touch of marketing too. This is after all a startup - so you'll be wearing plenty of hats.
You'll need some familiarity with Photoshop, because there is some lightweight graphic design involved - but we'll provide you with the training needed.
You've gotta be friendly, and enjoy talking to people regularly on the phone. We know a lot of people live in email and instant messenger, but that won't be enough.
And to top it all off, we'd love it if you were familiar with blogging, Web 2.0 and had an interest in technology, because that's what we live and breath every single day...
And who is Standout Jobs?
Standout Jobs is a Montreal-based startup building software applications to help small and medium sized businesses do a better job of a recruiting. Our product is called Reception - it's a platform for building interactive and engaging career sites, so companies can brand and market themselves more effectively to prospective candidates. We launched at the end of January and it's been all systems go since then. And as we scale, we want to maintain the highest quality of customer service and customer support as possible, which is where you come in!

- have a great understanding of XHTML, CSS, DOM Scripting, AJAX?

Standout Jobs is hiring. We're looking for a VP Business Development with experience in the recruiting industry. We have a ton of opportunity at-hand, and need someone capable of turning that opportunity into reality. You'll be wearing three major hats:
- Business Development - Partnerships, Alliances, Strategic Approaches to Market
- Marketing - Direct Marketing, Brand Development, Evangelism
- Sales - Direct Sales, Converting Leads, Managing Team
You'll take a lead role in all three areas. As well, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with the team on product strategy and development. You need to be:
